Those Involved The Bride The Groom Bridesmaids Groomsmen |

I first met Chris in June of 1995 when I started my new job at Management Development Associates. My job description included developing web pages, which meant working directly with Chris. At first he seemed a little territorial over the internet pages, but he soon loosened up.
We worked well together and enjoyed each others company, so we started going to lunch together. At this point, we were friends and nothing more. Then came the day that we started talking about amusement parks, and I mentioned in passing that I hadn't been to Magic Mountain in a long time, and would like to go again. He responded to this by asking if I would like to go on that coming Saturday (October 7, 1995). Sounded like fun to me, so I said I would go - I was completely unaware of his ulterior motives. We had a great time at Magic Mountain, but by the end of the night I was pretty confused. It finally dawned on me that he may be interested in something more than a friendship. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so I requested that we didn't say anything to people at the office about our situation until we knew where it was headed. After several trips to Magic Mountain, Disneyland, and countless other dates, we found ourselves a year and a half later (April 18, 1997) at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Fullerton. Little did I know what he had planned. While we were waiting to be seated, he told me he had a rose for me. This was not your ordinary rose... it was a fake velvet rose, and was quite odd looking. I stared at it for a while not knowing what it was, and he was just staring at me waiting for me to figure it out. I finally realized that the rose opened and an engagement ring was inside! He then asked me if I would marry him and I, of course, said yes.
